This Week in D June 12, 2016

Welcome to This Week in D! Each week, we'll summarize what's been going on in the D community and write brief advice columns to help you get the most out of the D Programming Language.

The D Programming Language is a general purpose programming language that offers modern convenience, modeling power, and native efficiency with a familiar C-style syntax.

This Week in D has an RSS feed.

Major Changes

A new page, Organization using D, was added to the website this week.

LDC 1.0.0 has been released! This release symbolizes stability and reliability in the eyes of the LDC maintainers. I feel it has come a long way over the last couple years and this is a good time for ldc!

Beta release DUB 1.0.0-beta.1 also came out this week.

A Berlin D Meetup will be held on Friday the 17th of this week!
